Making Change: Teaching Artists and Their Role in Shaping a Better World
THIS 2023 BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE IN FIVE LANGUAGES: ENGLISH, SPANISH, JAPANESE, CHINESE AND DUTCH. The first book written specifically for readers who don’t already know what teaching artistry is, it’s a short and plainspoken introduction to the field and its under-recognized size and impact. (I have found that teaching artists, and those who work with them, are also inspired by the book, seeing their work distilled and celebrated in print.)
My “5,000 New Advocates” project put Making Change into the hands of over 5,500 readers for free. All income from book sales is donated to ITAC.
Can you think of people who should know about teaching artistry and its distinctive power to activate artistry in people anywhere, of any age, and to guide that power into so many different productive outcomes? If so, please take action! It’s easy to get free copies to place in the hands of potential supporters or partners for the field.

Help the Cause
Help us build the field of Teaching Artistry around the world. At the book's website, you can get free or at-cost copies to put in the hands of possible advocates or those who can support the field more actively.
You can donate to support the free copies—every $25 dollars you donate puts five free books into the hands of advocates. Donations are fully tax-deductible in the U.S.
Thank you for joining our campaign to build new advocates for Teaching Artistry—the sleeping giant of social change. Help awaken the giant.
